Dr. David Maimon is the Head of Fraud Insights at SentiLink, where he connects upstream fraud signals from the online ecosystem with downstream insights from partners. With a deep background in cybercrime, investigation, and fraud prevention, he brings extensive expertise to the role. Prior to SentiLink, he was Principal Product Manager and Special Advisor at GeoComply and Chief Science Officer at the Vidocq Group. Dr. Maimon is also a Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Georgia State University and directs the Evidence-Based Cybersecurity Research Group. He received the “Young Scholar Award” from the White-Collar Crime Research Consortium in 2015 and was named “Educator of the Year” by the Houston Chapter of the ACFE in 2023. An accomplished researcher and author, Dr. Maimon has published widely and secured over $6 million in funding for Evidence-Based Cybersecurity research, making a significant impact in the field.
