SentiLink Partners with Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration to Combat Medicaid Fraud
Partnership delivers large-scale identity intelligence analysis of nearly 2 million providers and entities as part of Governor DeSantis’ newly launched Medicaid Integrity Initiative
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., June 17, 2026 -- SentiLink, the leading provider of identity verification and fraud detection solutions, announces a new partnership with Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) as part of Governor Ron DeSantis’ Medicaid Integrity Initiative, a comprehensive anti-fraud campaign aimed at protecting taxpayer resources and Florida’s most vulnerable residents.
Under the partnership, SentiLink will conduct a large-scale identity intelligence analysis covering millions of individuals and entities enrolled in the Florida Medicaid program. The work is designed to strengthen provider screening and detect fraud before harm occurs and taxpayer dollars are lost.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said: “We are rolling out new major actions to continue to strengthen the integrity of Florida’s program and to crack down on fraud. First, AHCA is launching a pilot program with SentiLink, a leading identity fraud detection company that specializes in uncovering sophisticated fraud schemes and verifying identities at scale. This will help identify stolen identities, synthetic IDs, hidden ownership structures, and other suspicious activity before bad actors are able to benefit.”
AHCA Secretary Shevaun Harris said: “Partnership in this is vital. We use our managed care plan special investigations unit as force multipliers in combating fraud. And then with this most recent collaboration with Sentilink, we will further strengthen our outcomes. Their platform processes data at a scale our traditional tools cannot match. Again, as the Governor mentioned, flagging synthetic identities, conceal ownership arrangements, and on and on.”
SentiLink Head of Public Sector, Dan Hildenbrand, said: “Medicaid fraud does not just waste taxpayer dollars -- it diverts critical resources away from people who genuinely need them. SentiLink’s identity intelligence and fraud detection capabilities are purpose-built to address exactly this kind of problem, and we are proud to partner with the State of Florida to take it on at scale.”
Medicaid fraud takes many forms; fraudsters leverage synthetic identities, identity theft, visa fraud, fraudulent businesses and shell companies, and organized criminal activity at both the national and transnational level. SentiLink will provide AHCA with comprehensive fraud risk visibility to combat all of these threats.
SentiLink’s capabilities span identity intelligence, business entity verification, risk analytics, and relationship mapping at scale. These tools are built to detect sophisticated fraud schemes — not just individual bad actors — including organized networks operating through concealed ownerships, fictitious entities, and compromised credentials.
Medicaid fraud has become a major national concern, and SentiLink’s partnership with AHCA could serve as a blueprint for other states.
