These channels increase customer acquisition but reduce the level of control energy providers have over who gets signed up. In this session, we discuss the effectiveness of sophisticated predictive risk models that can be customized by channel and brand.
Vivek Ahuja heads market expansion and alliances strategy at SentiLink, a leading provider of innovative identity and risk solutions. Vivek joined SentiLink in 2019 as its first go-to-market hire to help scale the organization. He has 10+ years of experience working in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem and in managing fraud mitigation systems for various organizations. Previously, he served as a Risk Analytics Product Manager at Marqeta, the Head of Merchant Risk and Virtual Card Fraud at Affirm, and he cut his teeth in fraud-fighting as the co-founder of Xendit, a leading payment solution in Southeast Asia. Prior to his tech career, he served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy. Vivek holds a BS in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from UC-Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Kelley Byrnes collaborates with partners in the retail energy and utilities sectors at SentiLink, a leading provider of innovative identity and risk solutions. With 10+ years of experience in business development and channel sales, Kelley has honed her expertise at financial institutions and fintech firms specializing in identity management and payments.
She began her career with a four-year tenure in Capital Markets and then Wealth Management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Kelley holds a BA in Psychology and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. She resides in the New York metro area.
