BREAKOUT SESSION
Treating Identity Fraud:
Step-Up Processes for High-Risk Applications
Powerful models can allow us to identify applications that pose a high risk of fraud, but once you’ve identified a potential risk, there’s another challenge: vetting those applications to weed out the true fraud while minimizing the impact on legitimate consumers. This presentation and discussion will delve into a variety of identity fraud vectors and discuss appropriate step-up verification and treatment strategies. Attendees will explore best practices by fraud vector and industry — including leveraging services such as eCBSV — to positively identify legitimate consumers and weed out fraudsters with the ultimate goal of reducing fraud losses.
